Sitting with Yeshua near the Sea of Galilee (guided meditation through Yongsung Kim's painting)
The Sea of Galilee, also known as Kinneret, is probably one of the most ideal places to have mystical encounters with our Lord Yeshua. Although I never traveled to Israel, Yeshua has given me plenty of visions of Galilee. Yongsung Kim's painting captured a very specific atmosphere.
Yeshua is preparing some fish that His disciples caught. He is sitting near the fire. There is an intense glow of light all around Yeshua and a wonderful peace emanates from our Lord's whole being.
The fire that spreads so intensely, combining warmth and light symbolically recalls the Holy Spirit.
It contrasts with the aery background visions of blue and light grey, where water and sky are united as one.
A disciple is approaching. probably Peter known as Kepha (the "stone") in the first Century.
The episode you are watching takes place after Yeshua's Resurrection. (John 21:14)
Peter probably did not feel at ease with Yeshua, because, in his heart, he perfectly knew that he had denied Him, as Yeshua prophesied it to him before His Passion took place.
We can suppose that Peter probably broke down when Yeshua asked him in front of the other disciples:"Do you love me?"
However, many people would also miss the way Yeshua, our rabbi Yeshua reinstates Peter is a strong reminder of the Shema Israel.
"Hear, O Israel: the Lord, our God, the Lord is one.
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and with all your might."
Peter's broken soul is being mended by Yeshua's strong love.
There is some movement in the blue water waves and the sky is enveloped in some ethereal fog. The Creator wrapped Peter into His unconditional love, once again.
Peter can now rejoice because he knows His Master washed all his sins away.
