The three statements of wisdom from Scriptures
It seems so easy to trust our Lord when everything goes right.
When obstacles arise, we tend to panic. Especially in our contemporary times, that are marked by Islamic terror, people prompt to become fearful.
However the Book of Proverbs clearly exhorts us not to be afraid of sudden terror:
"Do not be afraid of sudden terror or of the ruin of the wicked when it comes." Proverbs 3:25
If our hearts really belong to Hashem, there is nothing, absolutely nothing to be scared about.
Our Lord promises us that the wicked will know their demise.
Whatever the wicked plots, ( be it corporate evil people coming together), whoever the wicked associates with, the Almighty is with us.
" Take counsel together, but it will come to nothing. Speak a word, but it will not stand, for God is with us." Isaiah 8:10
This statement is true in our personal lives; it is also valid regarding all corporate leaders of the nations plotting against Israel ( like Unesco's denial of Jerusalem 's Jewish roots and of Jerusalem being Israel's Capital; this is just one example among many others).
People plot, but Hashem's judgments come to pass.
Hashem is a personal God. He cares about each and everyone in the detail.
"Even to your old age I am He
and to gray hairs I will carry you
I have made, and I will bear,
I will carry and I will save." (Isaiah 46:4)
Whoever places his confidence in man will be greatly deceived.
Whoever places his confidence in our Maker is building upon a rock ( Even= Av-Ben-stone=Father-Son).
May He inspire you to make the right choice! Amen.
