Our Lord's Face profile (from Heart of a Savior)
This picture is the closest I could find to the vision Yeshua granted me yesterday.
I was lying down, eyes closed, speaking to Yeshua in a fervent prayer.
I expressed Him my wish to see His Face, when He suddenly appeared to
me in a vision. Actually, He was showing me His Face profile.
Yeshua's
Face was so full of light that “holiness” was the first thought
that came to my mind. The King of the Jews had some portions of His
long, dark hair falling upon His nose. His traits were the traits of
a Sefaradi Jew; He looked like an authentic child of Israel. His eyes
are so full of love.Yeshua was wearing a white robe. There was so
much majesty reflected in His person.
“Oh
my King, you rejoiced your child's heart by letting me see you. So
much holiness, so much peace, and so much tenderness emanate from
your sweet person! I love you, my Yeshua”.
A
few hours before, Yeshua had said to me: “I'll make you flourish in
the desert”.
Yeshua
let me sink into a deep sleep, but it was a night that was different
from all other nights. My best friend let me feel His embrace all
night long. I was sleeping, but my conscience of Him watching me was
awaken.
As
Yeshua is teaching me total reliance on Him, our friendship grows. I
understand now how much He is providing for me.
Open
your hearts to His love, Yeshua is willing to give you so much more
than you actually expect from Him. Yeshua is expanding my vision and
increasing my love for Him.
Yeshua
talked to me about His return.
Some
others are actually losing faith on their Second Return speculations.
You
know, if our Father hasn't allowed me to return yet, it is because of
His immense love for you all. It is for more people to access
Salvation. It is to allow Israelis and Jews to understand who I am and
for all the others who can still repent while it is time.
Hashem
has a perfect timing. Do not doubt, people. Understand God's heart
before you start mumbling. What if I had come before you had accessed
Salvation? Have compassion for the unsaved in the same way I had
compassion for all of you who are now saved.”

Some hidden Hebrew meanings behind the multiplication of bread and fish
According to André Chouraqui, the first Jewish person to translate the New Testament into French, the New Testament is a music with a lost partition. The lost partition is due to a content being diluted through the numerous translations and to the deliberate will emanating from emperor Constantine to match Christianity with numerous pagan additions.
Twenty Centuries later, a lot of people seem to have forgotten that the New Testament’s roots are Hebrew. The text of the New Testament at our disposition might have been translated into Greek, but the persons who wrote it were all Jewish. They all lived according to Jewish customs and the One they were serving, our Messiah, taught as a Jewish rabbi and the signs and miracles He operated are a fulfillment of the Tanakh (Ancient Testament). One cannot and will not understand the New Testament properly without digging deep into its Hebrew roots.Unfortunately, a lot of false, dishonest interpretations have been added and widely accepted by the mainstream public.
The multiplication of bread and fish’s symbolic goes back to the Old Testament
The Gospels report Yeshua’s miracle of the multiplication of bread and fish. While reading the story, most people simply think about the nourishment of a hungry crowd. Some prosperity gurus will extrapole on Yeshua being one of the most successful entrepreneurs. Yet none of them has the curiosity to look further at the symbolic meaning of fish, bread and also at the numbers mentioned in the text of the Gospels.
The prophet Elijah performed the same type of miracle, that is reported in the Second Book of Kings, verses 42 to 44:
“And there came a man from Baalshalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the first fruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corns in the husk thereof. And he said, give to the people, that they may eat. And the attendant said: what will I set before a hundred men? But he said: “give them to the people that they may eat, for thus says the Lord: “they shall eat and have some left over”.
The barley bread that was used was barley pita bread and probably the same type of bread was used during Yeshua’s multiplication of bread.
The fish, a symbol of growth
Does knowing the word “fish” in Hebrew matter? Yes, it does. And here is WHY.
The word “dag” (daleth guimel), fish, in Hebrew is linked with the very meaning of growth.
The verb “daga” in Hebrew means to increase, to multiply.
This verb is to be found in the Book of Genesis, 48:16
אַבְרָהָ֣ם וְיִצְחָ֑ק וְיִדְגּ֥וּ לָרֹ֖ב בְּקֶ֥רֶב
“Abraham and Isaac and they will grow into a multitude”
Isn’t it fascinating that these two pieces of fish are a symbol of great increase? The Hebrew language allows us to catch the very meaning ofYeshua’s miracle. But there is even much more revealed in this fascinating episode. There are five pieces of bread.
Symbolically the number 5 is linked with the Pentateuch (the five books of the Torah), but interestingly it also refers to Yom Hamichi, the fifth day of Creation, during which bird and fish were created.
Another powerful number is 12. After the crowd had been fed by our Savior, 12 baskets remained.
These 12 baskets represent the 12 tribes of Israel. There is probably even much more to discover about this fantastic miracle Yeshua performed in front of a hungry crowd. But I wanted to share these few insight with you all.
Always remember that Yeshua is the great multiplier. If you put all your trust in our Lord, He will feed you at all time. Your spiritual and your material needs will be met. Blessed be our Messiah’s Name, in eternity.

Psalm 27: a solid confession of faith
Yeshua
changed my way of reading the Bible. While I am now reading more
little portions of the Word, our Lord always invites me to dig deeper
into the part of Scripture that I am reading. Every time it is
possible, I am also doing my best to put the verses that are in front
of my eyes into a Hebrew context.
But
I will also share with you a new method of learning instigated by our
Yeshua. Our sweet Lord also showed me that I should spent time on a
text and when it has to do with Psalms, to sing them in Hebrew, so
the words would resonate and penetrate deeply into my soul.
Psalm
27 is part of the teaching I am currently being granted. Going
through the text, singing it, repeating it allowed me to go in depth
with this beautiful statement of faith.
« Adonai
is my light and my salvation : whom should I fear ? Adonai
is the stronghold of my life : whom should I dread,
When
evildoers approached me to devour my flesh-my adversaries and my
foes-they stumbled and fell.
Though
an army camp besieges me, my heart will not fear ;
Though
war breaks out against me, even then I will be confident.
One
thing I have asked of Adonai, that will I seek : to dwell in the
House of Adonai all the saus of my life, to behold the beauty of
Adonai and to meditate in His temple.
For
in the day of trouble He will hide me in His sukkah, conceal me in
the shelter of His tent and set me high upon a rock. »
Psalm
27 was written by King David. At the very beginning, it unleashes
powerful creed of faith. When Adonai (our Lord) is the very
foundation of our faith, we don't have anything to fear from anyone.
When He becomes the center of our lives, we will find shelter in Him
at all times.
It
is interesting to note that the Hebrew version of Psalm 27 states
that our Lord will hide us in His sukkah during bad days. Being
sheltered in His tent ensures us protection, should we be besieged by
a whole army of enemies. Should our own parents abandon us, Adonai
would shelter us. We are now immersed into a strong dimension of
unconditional love and light.
As
we advance in discipleship with Yeshua, we are taking better habits.
We don't rely on our own forces, we do not look at the outside
cirumstances, but we start seeking His Face. We wait upon Him
confidently, knowing that, despite the dark clouds around us, Yeshua
is our rescuer from evil.
We
can sing along with the Psalmist :
« Surely
I trust that I will see the goodness of Adonai in the land of the
living. »
I
will raise up my hands to the Lord of my Salvation. I will proclaim
to the face of the world that « Adonai ori » (The Lord is
my light) and I will walk in confidence before my enemies.
The
adventure with Yeshua continues in joy and confidence.
Yeshua
is the strength of my life, whom shall I fear ?

An Alliance of Fire (from "Heart of a Savior")
During
this Friday evening, I expressed Yeshua my renewed wish to come
closer to Him and to know Him better.
As
I was relaxing, I heard Yeshua say: “ You will come close to the
fire, but it will not consume you, it will just keep you warm.”
I
thought of the burning bush and allowed myself to sink into sleep,
very softly and gradually, while Yeshua was holding me in His arms.
During
the whole night, I was being kept warm, despite the icy temperature
of my room due to pouring cold rain outside. Despite the fact I was
sleeping, I was made attentive of Yeshua's loving care.
I
am so eager to approach Yeshua our Lord in a deeper dimension; so
eager that I sometimes don't realize who I am asking to approach so
close. He is the Saint of Israel, and His words instantly reminded me
about Moshe's encounter during the burning bush episode.
Amazingly
Yeshua always grants me my demands; I am so grateful that our loving
Lord allows me to discover more gradually His immense greatness. The
truth is that I am always hungry for more...
I
love you, child, I have a special affection for you, because your
heart is according to mine. So were Moshe and King David and so are
also some of my contemporary chosen ones.
If
people knew who I am, they would stop with unnecessary judgment.
So
often I am showing you your own sin in order to prevent you against
arrogance.
You
are a key element in my plan. You are still being trained. Do not be
impatient, my beloved daughter. As you'll progress, you will also be
able to come much closer to me. A light that shines too brightly into
unprepared eyes could make them blind. Remember that everything comes
to you when you are ready.”

A universe without a Creator doesn't make sense
It is sometimes funny how the little particles of dust human beings are prompt to boast with arrogance when they come to speak about the Creator of the universe.
The intent of this article is not to enter into the worthless debate of "God's existence". God does not exist in the sense of a limited being. God IS. He is the essence of all life.
Trying to prove or to disprove the source of ALL is just pointless and a waste of time.
So rather than advocating the Creator's existence, I'd like you all to reflect on the complexity of our universe.
Science does not elude a Creator
I voluntarily included quotes from men of science. So many people refer to Stephen Hawking in order to disprove the presence of a Creator within our universe. The usual argument I do hear from them is "Hawking is a genius, so he cannot be wrong". Really? How foolish is this statement?
Human intelligence, no matter how big, will always be limited. Science is in constant evolution. There will always be phenomena that will escape our understanding.
Also it is not because Stephan Hawking says there is no God that he is stating the truth. Einstein, Pascal, Newton were men of science, yet they believed in God.
Opinions don't matter in front of the Truth.
The Creator will always let Himself found by humble hearts. He is visible in the microcosm of our body, for instance, and in the macrocosm of the universe with its stars and planets.
Do you really think that nothing originated from nothing? Our universe, as we know it, is very well regulated, in precise order and cycles.
The universe, as conceived by our Creator is just perfect. The creature that disrupted our universe's balance is man, and for greedy money purposes. We were not supposed to live within a polluted and damaged environment.
The Book of Genesis: a report of the creation of the Universe
I have seen so many people who don't even have the slightest insights about the Book of Genesis slate the first verses of the Bible with much arrogance.
If you even knew how complex Bereshit 1 is, you'd keep your mouth shut. I haven't finished digging deep into its very mysteries and I truly think that a lifetime wouldn't suffice.
Bereshit, the Book of Genesis in Hebrew is filled with numeric suites and coded messages.
If you humble yourself before the Creator, He will let you enter into His very thoughts.
The Days from 1 to 7 have to be understood as periods of time during which our Lord is putting everything into place. Atheists, not the Bible is naive, but your arrogant, childish view is.
The Book of Jeremiah clearly states (Jeremiah 33.3):
"Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not."
How do you expect the Creator to manifest Himself to you if you do not even make the effort to seek Him? How do you expect to experience His kindness if you constantly boast with arrogance against Him?
Yes, humbleness is a virtue. Not matter how great your (scientifical, literary, spiritual, biblical...) knowledge is, admit that you DON'T KNOW.
The more you know, the less you know. Let Him show you and instruct you in His wisdom instead of denying Him constantly.
Ask yourself if your existence as a human really makes sense without your Creator...examine the shortness of your own life and its meaning.
Do not be wise in your own eyes, for the beginning of wisdom is the fear of Hashem.

Prayer for the homeless in the cold
Dear readers,
We are currently experiencing a cold wave in Paris. There are so many people here who are staying outside in the cold, during the day and also sometimes, during the night.
While it is possible to help a few of them, one can barely help all of them. Lots of people lack shelter, and among the homeless, the luckiest sometimes sleep under tents by minus 10 C.
Please join me in this little prayer aimed at all the needy in Paris and all over the world.
"Dear Lord,
A lot of people are currently suffering outside in the cold, with no families to support them.
They are hurt in their bodies and in their hearts.
Please Lord feed the hungry and help all the needy to find shelter.
Show them that they are loved and not alone, even during the hard times they are experiencing.
Allow them to warm their bodies with hot food and light their souls with your love.
Send them, please, many helping hands and loving hearts.
In your mighty Name, Yeshua, I am asking, Amen."

Systems of belief and intellectual knowledge (from Heart of a Savior)
painting made after the Shroud of Turin
I just received these precious words from our Lord and Savior and I am sharing them with you all:)
“Numerous are the systems of belief and numerous are the ones who will defend them through complicated reasoning. A lot of believers act as if their beliefs are going to save them. Oh foolishness of men!
Of course you are supposed to walk in truth and dismiss any kind of idolatry. However, all of you need to understand that you will never possess the truth in its entirety while basing all your understanding on intellectual knowledge. Your exegesis is just one of multiple interpretations possible, even when you are making a point in your demonstration. I mean, since the beginning, Scriptures are meant to be debated in a contradictory way, this is what rabbinic discussions are about. Also, depending on your spiritual maturity, there are several levels of understanding just in one single verse.
While it is a very good thing to question Scriptures, one should understand, especially during these times, that a belief, no matter how true it is, does not and will not save anybody.
Therefore I am asking my children to stop having arguments over systems of belief. None of you will know me a 100% before I return.
However, stop spreading false teachings. Stop talking about me as if I was just a “figure of style”. I have always manifested myself to the ones who sought me with all their hearts. I am a REAL person. Meeting me through a verse is an illusion. There is a huge difference between just meditating on a verse and having a real friendship with me.
When will you, children of men, really believe in Me? Scriptures are not a garanty for eternal life. I Yeshua can offer you this gift, but you must be willing to meet me.
I am returning very soon, children of men. Should you only remember one thing about me, it should be the following sentence:
“By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."
Your heart is close to mine when you recognize me in the beggar sitting at the street corner. Being capable of showing empathy is worth thousand verses knowledge. Keep it in mind, on the very Day of my Return, I will scan your heart and you'll be judged after your capacity of love, not your system of belief.”

The true Messiah of Israel
I know that the following article is
going to raise controversy on both, the Jewish and the Gentile side.
I hesitated a long time before writing it. Nevertheless, all in all,
I think that it is worth publishing it, for the truth has to be told,
regardless of various opinions on the subject.
Opinions are just opinions, and they
don't really matter in front of the truth.
Two thousand years
ago Hashem fulfilled the promise of sending a Messiah to Israel.
Yeshua accomplished many signs and miracles and brought, through His
presence, the kingdom of Heaven to earth. But Yeshua's mission was
ultimately to die on the Cross, so all mankind could access
Salvation.
When He walked the
earth as Yeshua ben Yosef, it was really hard to recognize Him as the
Messiah, unless through a revelation from the Holy Spirit, as given
to Peter.
For
the Gentiles to access Salvation, Yeshua had
to be rejected by the Jewish religious establishment. Yet, it is
often interpreted as His rejection by all the people of Israel, which
is a truly misrepresented fact. Not only were all of Yeshua's first
disciples Jewish, but a lot of people in Israel revered Him and loved
Him. Some of them, like Nicodemus, followed Him secretely out of fear
from the religious establishment. Some contemporary rabbis in Israel
do act in the same way.
When Yeshua our Messiah was crucified, young women in Jerusalem are
reported to have been crying, a fact that has been occulted in
Christianity although it is clearly reported in the Gospels.
Both communities separated from the real Yeshua ?
Today's drama is that many orthodox Jews are cut from the Messiah of
Israel. Many Gentiles are cut from the true Messiah of Israel too,
because the one they think they are following is a distorted Messiah
with pagan adjunctions.
Many people wonder why orthodox Jews don't turn to Yeshua as the
Messiah of Israel.
I realized that many orthodox Jews do not reject Yeshua, they do
reject «Jesus».
«What? Isn't this a reference to the same person? What do you
mean?», I will probably be asked by many people. Well, let me
develop my point. Yes, many orthodox Jews do reject the name Jesus,
because it refers to Christianity. Because in the «Jesus» that is
depicted by Christianity they don't even recognize a Jew. Therefore
many Jews think that Yeshua is a Gentile, because they didn't get a
chance to read the New Testament.
I think that emperor Constantine is one of the most wicked persons
in history, because he replaced a cult based on IHVH with pagan
customs. Christianity never even questioned this and even added
to this. A lot of customs that are rebuked in the Bible, such as
decorating a Christmas tree or taking Sun-day as a resting and cult
day, are just commonly accepted as part of Christianity. These are just a few examples, there are so many more...
The « Gentile
Messiah » is a common lie people accept
Yes, the One you
are calling « Jesus » is Jewish. His real Name is Yeshua.
His real Name actually points to Salvation, which is our Messiah's
very purpose. Some people slated me just for stating this truth. I'll
reiterate it once again, because it needs to be said : the name
Jesus is totally made up. It has no meaning. It is the Greek
transliteration of Yeshua. It didn't exist until the 6th
Century. In the 1st Century, everybody who knew Him called
Him Yeshua. So sorry if I offended some of you for calling our Lord
by His true Name.
Then I'll repeat
another schocker to many Gentiles : Yeshua is Jewish and Torah
observant. All the points He makes are linked with the Torah. One can
only have a proper understanding of His points by putting them into a
Hebrew context.
Since Yeshua approached me, our Lord revealed Himself to me as the
Jewish Messiah. He asked me to call Him Yeshua, not «Jesus». He
clearly showed me that He is a teacher of Torah and that He has
nothing but love for Israel.
The true Messiah of Israel is not a character of Greek mythology. He
is real. He opposes to paganism practices such as cult of saints,
cult of Virgin Mary, and any kind of idolatry. He has a rabbinic
approach of Scriptures. He is not a priest or a pastor in the modern sense of the term. A friend gently reminded me that Yeshua bears the title of High Priest after the order of Melkizedek and that He can also be considered as the Good Shepherd and Pastor of Israel.
My reference to the word "priest" and "pastor' referred to modern religious congregations' leaders in the Christian world.
My reference to the word "priest" and "pastor' referred to modern religious congregations' leaders in the Christian world.
The true Messiah of Israel is present throughout the whole Tanakh
(Ancient Testament).
If you do not believe that Yeshua is present in the Tanakh, then
check out this impressive
list of prophecies fulfilled by our Messiah.
In both
communities, either Jewish or Christians, I've seen people who'd
prefer to deny the truth than giving up traditions of men and added
customs. I've seen so many people who prefer the comfort of a
religious community than living in truth and taking the path of our
Messiah Yeshua.
Having met Yeshua
personally, today I cannot and will not adhere Christianity, because
of the many added pagan customs it contains. Although I feel much
closer to Messanic Judaism, I am not keen on joining any movement at
all.
I am not seeking to
advertise any church, congregation or synagogue.
I want to advertise
Yeshua the true Messiah of Israel. He is the only One I have given my
heart.
I am not Jewish. I
am not Christian. I am a follower of Yeshua, the true Messiah of
Israel.
Come to Him,
because there is no Salvation out of Him.

Joseph's dreams in Genesis 37
Joseph
happened to be the eleventh and the favorite of Jacob's twelve
children. Even his name in Hebrew, Yosef (He will add) points at
abundance, whether it is in terms of adding another child to his
mother or regarding material abundance.
The
story of Joseph is a very uncommon destiny. Hashem speaks to Joseph
through dreams and also confers him the ability to interpret other
people's dreams.
Rejected
and unloved by most of his brothers, misunderstood by his own father,
Joseph will literally endorse the role
of a savior towards his family.
Joseph
prefigures the mission of our Messiah (who is ben Yosef as well as
ben David).
When
Hashem chooses you to fulfill His purpose, do not expect relatives
and friends to understand you. You might even get misinterpreted or
misquoted in many ways.
The
story, as told in Genesis
37,
tells us about two specific dreams young Joseph had. It also shows us
that Joseph was disliked by many of his brothers. Apparently, Jacob's
concubines' sons were misbehaving, and Joseph was reporting their
behavior to his father.
The
simple fact of reporting their bad behavior must have caused
resentment in Joseph's brothers' hearts. But Jacob's wholehearted love
for Joseph fired the fuel of their jealousy even more.
So
when Joseph came up with his first dream, even if the dream was
expressed in the form of a parable, it increased their hatred and
jealousy. Joseph was being favored, even in his dreams, and they were
symbolically bowing before him.
Joseph
addresses his brothers:
“Hear this dream
that I have dreamed:
Behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and
behold,my sheaf arose and stood upright. And behold, your sheaves
gathered around it and bowed down to my sheaf.”
The
thought of Joseph ruling over them was just unbearable. He must have
seemed so presumptuous to his brothers, because according to the
story, they did not walk in righteousness.
His
brothers are already fuming. Then Joseph comes up with a second
dream :
« Behold,
I have dreamed another dream. Behold, the sun, the moon and the
eleven stars were bowing before me. »
Joseph's
second dream causes him even to be rebuked by his own father.
Joseph's Hashem sent dreams are mistaken for misplaced pride and they
will dramatically change Joseph's destiny.
His
brothers are plotting to kill him. Despite his eldest brother,
Reuben's efforts to bring him back to his father, Joseph will be sold
to the Ismaelites and brought to Egypt. Jacob will live for years
with the thought that his beloved son is dead, gone forever from his
life.
One
can imagine that he will report most of his affection on Benjamin,
his twelvth and last son.
Dreams,
visions and Hashem's plan
God
often uses dreams and visions to speak to us. We know that these
dreams and visions come from Him, because they are very symbolic and
part of the divine universe.
Even
at a time I hadn't given my heart to Yeshua, I received an amazing
amount of visions, back in 1996. I knew they were God-given. I saw
Torah scrolls flying in the sky and was even taken once to the Mount
of Olives during my sleep.
Sometimes,
like in Joseph's case the symbols that appear in our dreams, can
contain Hashem's plan for the future. They are not always easy to
decrypt and sometimes we are only capable of reading their very
meaning backwards.
We
must realize that Hashem's vision is much bigger than one individual.
Our human vision is very short sighted if we compare it with our
Lord's wide and global vision.
Joseph
suffered for a while, but through his destiny, Hashem saved Israel
from the famine.
Increase
your trust in Hashem. Whatever is part of the plan is good, even if
you don't understand the why's yet.

An Encounter with Yeshua by Isabelle Esling
An Encounter with Yeshua by Isabelle Esling: FREE DOWNLOAD! When Isabelle Esling met Yeshua, He tremendously changed her life. Here is her story of the life-changing encounter.'Yeshua is a very special person. In fact, there is nobody like Him. Yeshua’s heart loves unconditionally. He doesn’t care about your background or the mistakes you are making. He is not here to accuse you. Yeshua is love and forgiveness. In short, Yeshua is endless love.'

Yeshua's discussions with the Pharisees: tough love, but still love
In contemporary Christianity, the word
« Pharisee » has quite become a synonym for hypocrite.
Many christian assemblies (fortunately not all of them) do teach that
Yeshua slates Pharisees for « bending under the heavy weight
of the Torah ».
In the mind of many average citizens,
Yeshua's harsh words against the Pharisees have been interpreted as a
slate of Jewish people in general.
Yeshua encountered my path and I can
ensure you all that there is nobody more Jewish than Yeshua our
Messiah. He is indeed the best teacher of Torah. Yeshua has nothing
but love for the Torah, as the rabbi He actually is and even when He
corrects some of His folks, it is an expression of unconditional
love.
Examining the Bible in its Hebrew
context
I do believe, as a follower of Yeshua,
that it is much more important than people think (even if they do not wish
to follow Him the Hebrew way), to replace His words into the very
Hebrew context of the 1st Century. Truth is not meant to
please us at all times, but I am advocating truth.
There is a truth I will point out in
any case, even if it might get much rejection : neither the Old
nor the New Testament are Western documents. If you fail to look at
them in their authentic context, you will also completely miss the
point. Relying on translated documents opens the door to huge
misinterpretation and cultural nonsense.
Wait a minute : who are the
Pharisees ?
The word « Pharisee » comes
from the Hebrew parush, separate. The Pharisees of the 1st
Century existed along with many other Jewish sects, such as the
Essenes, the Ebionites ,Sadduceans, the Zealots...I will not get into
detail because the differences between the different groups of
beliefs are sometimes quite complex. We know from the New Testament
that the Pharisees believed in the Resurrection, while the Sadduceans
did not.
What Yeshua is actually saying in
Matthew 23
Yeshua's words
have so often- willingly or unwillingly- been taken out of context.
Sadly, they were also misused many times to justify antisemitism.
These are the
words Yeshua told the crowds and His disciples regarding the
Pharisees :
« The
scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses' seat, so do and observe
whatever they tell you, but do not the works they do. »
Strangely
verse 2 seems to have been overlooked. Yeshua recognizes the
Pharisees as legitimate and
is
asking people to do and observe whatever they tell us.
However, He clearly shows us that He disapprove of their behavior,
because they are speaking and not doing.
What does Yeshua
exactly reproach them ? They are preaching the precepts of
Torah, but do not apply them, and thus, are canceling the Torah.
« For they
preach, but do not practice. »
But they are
even adding to their fault, by the way their way of acting-which
could be some kind of « acting » as well ; their
behavior is based on the appearance and not grounded in the
observance of Hashem's commandments.
« They
tie up heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on people's
shoulders, but themselves are not willing to move tem with their
finger. They do all their deeds to be seen by others. For they make
their phylacteries broad and their fringes long and they love the
places of honor at feats and the best seats in the synagogues and
greetings in the marketplaces and being called rabbi by others. »
The
Pharisees are also depicted as « brood of vipers »,
« hypocrites », « whitewashed graves » by
Yeshua. Because our Lord was challenging about the vanity of their
actions, many christian scholars have wrongly interpreted it as a
total condemnation of the Pharisees, and by extention, of Jewish
people who had become « God killers », despised and
rebuked by God Himself. Because of the 3rd Century split
between followers of Yeshua and Jewish people, and the deliberate
will of the pagan emperor Constantine to make official Christianity
match with pagan traditions, misunderstanding between both
communities started to grow.
A
lot of people in our contemporary times are still convinced that
Yeshua hates His own people.
Some
arrogant church leaders have created a « replacement theology »
in order to prove that Israel has been definitely rebuked by our Lord
and excluded from Salvation.
A
throughout reading of the Scriptures and a true closeness with Yeshua
will prove you the opposite.
Speaking
about modern churches (of very different denominations), I have been
observing behaviors that are much worse than everything that is
reproached the 1st Century Pharisees (gossips, adutery,
misuse of monetary fonds...)
One
needs to face the ultimate truth. Hate me if you want for stating it,
but I'll state it anyway : Yeshua our Messiah did not come to
start Christianity. Yeshua is plain Jewish. He never came to cancel
the Torah in any way, but to help people perfect their practices of
the everlasting Law.
Yeshua
never hated the Pharisees in His words, but showed them tough love
for them to envision their faults and to be able to correct their
ways.
Remember:
He told you to do and observe what the Pharisees told you. Listen to
their teachings, for they are right, but do not imitate their corrupt
ways.

Did you seek Him diligently?
Isaiah 55:6
"Seek the Lord while you can find Him. Call on Him while He is near."
Deuteronomy 4:29
"But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and soul."
Jeremiah 29:13
"You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart."
It is quite funny. A lot of people have objected me: "Where is your God? I can't see Him. I pray and He doesn't answer, and so on..." Usually, I hear the same kind of diatribes from different people ( some of them do possess Scriptural knowledge) from people who keep complaining about the very "absence of God" from their lives.
Since your claim against Hashem seems to be quite serious, I'd like to raise a question and I'd like you all atheists, agnostics, doubters and seekers to answer it in all honesty.
"Did you really seek Him diligently? Did you pray earnestly while addressing to Him?
Actually is Hashem your MAIN priority?"
Well, in case you were unable to answer "yes" to my three questions, I think it is high time for you to examine the motivations of your heart.
The truth is, Hashem is never absent. Your Creator is right there with you, as you are reading these words. It is not Him, but you who created a distance between Him and you.
Yes, you are fully responsible of the very situation you are complaining about!
So what could cause you to be kilometers away from God?
First of all, your sins are responsible of the barrier that is blocking you from meeting God. As long as you will keep sinning and are not ready to express regrets about your unruly behavior, you will feel this distance. Some of you will even feel bad at the thought of your Creator, because, unconsciously, you perfectly know that you keep offending Him.
The second point is your heart of stone. Yes, you heard it well. As long as you are not willing to renounce arrogance, resentment, lies and wicked ways, you will block the road to your Creator.
Humble yourself, because God speaks to humble hearts. I experienced this as a reality.
Third point: do not expect God to hear you if your prayer requests are made of selfish requests.
As a child, while watching the story of Moses, I wrongly thought that Moses was operating like a magician. My father corrected my view and explained me that Moses was working through the Spirit of God, unlike Egypt's magicians.
God is not a magician. Do not ask Him to reveal you the next lottery numbers. Your requests must be motivated by something that is according to His will.
The Book of the Proverbs states : "The Lord is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the righteous."
Yeshua encourages us to ask the Father in His Name:
"Until now you have asked nothing in my Name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full." John 16:24
Our Lord is very personal, because He knows each of you individually. Therefore, seek Him diligently and He will manifest Himself to you.
God never ignores the supplications of the ones who truly love Him.

The healing of the lame beggar: a report from the Book of Acts
The third chapter of the Book of Acts, in the New Testament reports the wonderful story of a miraculous healing. These are truly big headlines about our Messiah Yeshua working through His disciple Peter in the presence of John.
Expecting monetary gain and receiving physical healing
It is interesting to observe the lame beggar at the Temple. The scene takes place in the 1st Century, but it could be easily transferred to our contemporary world of the 21st Century: a handicapped man is sitting in front of a church or a synagogue, or anywhere else downtown, expecting people to grant him a few coins and maybe a banknote if they are lucky.
So here are Peter and John, two of Yeshua's real close disciples who have known our Lord as he walked the earth. Of course, the beggar expects a material gesture in the same way. He is probably so much used to this kind of charity all the time. Especially when a person suffers from a handicap, people are more likely to be generous towards a beggar. I don't know if it is love, it could also be a form of pity rather than real compassion.
However Peter seems to act in a very surprising way. He first raises the lame beggar's attention.
Why does Peter say: "Look at us!"? The reason is quite simple: Peter wants the man to fully focus on him and John. One must make his mind available to receive a gift from the Holy Spirit.
To the lame beggar's greatest amazement, Peter states that he doesn't possess silver or gold. Yet he possesses something much more precious: the Spirit of God.
Note that the healing occurs in the powerful Name of Yeshua. Peter proclaims Yeshua's mighty Name before he takes the handicapped man's hand to raise him up.
The comfort of illness and its relationship with the lack of healing
Very few people will admit it openly, but unconsciously a lot of them find much comfort in illnesses rather than in being cured. Why is it so?
Especially in psycho-somatic sicknesses, the ill person uses the sickness as an excuse to be pitied or to be freely taken care of. In the depths of their soul, they are enjoying the situation and want it to keep on going, especially if there is a financial benefit attached to it ("no need to work because I am receiving this financial compensation for my illness").
One can assume that even the lame beggar would probably find comfort in receiving pieces of gold and silver from diverse people daily.
Maybe he was living comfortably with this source of income-maybe not. It is just a supposition.
Making him recover health is also offering him the keys towards his financial independance, which he probably wants, if we consider his spontaneous reaction in joy and praise.
Peter reminds us all to glorify the Source of all healing: Hashem.
If you have been granted to heal people through the power of the Holy Spirit, always remember to give our Lord all the glory.
