This is the story of my Salvation and my testimony to the world that Yeshua is alive.

The halachic rabbi they don't expect: a few reflections about Yeshua's Second Coming
As well as Yeshua our Messiah surprised people at His first Coming in the 1st century, His Second Coming will leave quite a few people in astonishment and some others in total disbelief.
Contemporary rabbis' usual objections against Yeshua as a potential candidate to Messianship is that Yeshua did not restore peace in Israel in the time of His Coming.
A second objection is that ( in their eyes), Yeshua did not bring people back to Torah.
This orthodox Jew, much closer to Yeshua than most people think |
Yeshua ben Yosef, the Suffering Messiah and contemporary rabbinic objections
Messiah ben Yosef: the Suffering Messiah |
- The first rabbinic objection mentioned above is due to a misunderstanding of Yeshua's prior mission in the 1st Century as the Suffering Messiah. Although the Suffering Messiah, Messiah ben Yosef is part of Jewish tradition, although the character of the " man of pains" is announced in the Scroll of Isaiah, Chapter 53, confirmed by other Dead Sea Scroll and talmudic sources, many rabbis nowadays will discard the idea of a Suffering Messiah, because the image of Messiah ben David seems to be prevalent to them. Of course, after centuries of bondage, so many people are wishing for Israel's complete liberation from terror and oppression. Messiah ben David will liberate His people and reign- in conformity with biblical prophecies. Because the figure of Messiah ben David is so much important, the character of Messiah ben Yosef is occulted. So many persons fail to see that Messiah ben Yosef and Messiah ben David are the same person.
source: http://tikvathashani.blogspot.fr/p/yeshua-tallit.html |
- The second rabbinic objection is often generated by the lack of knowledge of the Gospels that are described as " greek documents". If rabbis started reading the excellent Delitzsch Hebrew Gospels, they would probably envision that Yeshua's words are the words of a Torah-observant rabbi. All stories happen in Eretz Israel. One cannot deny that the parables are a typically Jewish literary genre-which dismisses the argument that the Gospels are "greek". The Gospels are documents written by Jewish minds that have been translated into Greek. I am convinced that archeology will permit to exhume the Hebrew originals from the earth someday.
The halachic rabbi Christianity fails to see
The kotz of the yod |
"The Torah and the Prophets were given until Yochanan.From that time on, the good news of the Kingdom was given.Everyone will enter with a strong hand.But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one thorn ( "kotz" in Hebrew is a small stroke, part of a Hebrew letter-yod being the smallest Hebrew letter) to fall away from the Torah." Luke Chapter 16, verses 16 and 17 Delitzsch Hebrew Gospels.
People have been claiming about Yeshua's Second Coming for 2000 years. Many individuals are even so much used to this statement that they don't really expect Him to come back, failing to spot prophecies in the process of fulfilling in our contemporary world.
Arrogance and blindness in Christianity
Unfortunately, centuries of estrangement from Judaism and the Hebraic heritage of the Gospels have created a monster made of distorted, mistranslated verses and added pagan traditions ( Christmas, Santa Claus, Saint Valentine, Easter, Halloween, just to name a few).
Many orthodox Jews consider papacy and roman catholic church as "Yeshua's official representatives". Most of them think of Yeshua as of a pagan divinity in the same way they would perceive other baals and ishtars. The link between Yeshua and the true Messiah of Israel has been lost with the pagan image Christianity displays of Yeshua. Therefore, a belief Yeshua gets automatically discarded as " pagan" or "goy".
On the other hand, some misled and stubborn adepts of Christianity would automatically do away with Yeshua's obvious connection with the people and the soil of Eretz Israel. Many people, and even the ones who claim "to love Jewish people", view the Jews as " fallen" and "cursed". I've heard very shocking statements from people who claim to "have mad love for Jewish folks" that "Yeshua shed His blood, "even" for the Jews".
Now, my dear friends, if you think like that you will probably need a Torah/ Tanach/ Gospel reality check that will bring you back to more modesty:
When Yeshua encountered my path, three years ago, I asked Him to show me the real Him and He revealed Him to me as the Jewish Messiah. He clearly showed me that He is a teacher of Torah and He brought me into Torah study. Over months of discipleship, Yeshua got me rooted into Hebraic thought and also into the Promised Land, His soil.
I would like to warn the skeptics: back in 2015 our Lord clearly showed me that some people would deny Him openly when they would become aware of His Jewish ID. Here is the link to the article I posted on this blog on June 2015.

- the Jews are HaShem's elect, the apple of His eye...even if they have been judged for their disobedience, the God of Israel will never remove His love from them.
- Yeshua our dear Messiah is one of their kinsmen, who came for " the lost sheep of Israel" AT FIRST.
- Yeshua does not discard preexisting concepts in Torah and Tanach, he digs deeper into them to show you more perfection in applying them.
- Yeshua is the Messiah of Israel AT FIRST, then the Messiah of the nations. If He hadn't faced rejection in the first century, I don't think that Gentiles would had it easy to even access Salvation.
In conclusion: arrogant boasting will lead you nowhere. Be grateful to even be into HaShem's alliance- which can only happen if you follow the true Messiah of Israel, not His greek counterpart.

A few examples of Yeshua's halachic teachings:
- netilat yadayim ( ritual washing of hands, falsely interpreted as "Yeshua declaring all foods pure) in Mark 7 (verses 1-3)
- discussions about Shabbat are very common in rabbinic debates...Yeshua showed that mercy should always prevail. Shabbat was made for man to delight in it and Yeshua reminded people of it. Also life always prevail, especially on the 7th Day.
- the parable of the mustard seed is a complex rabbinic teaching that implies prior knowledge of some precise rabbinic laws.
- When He debated with the Pharisees, Yeshua always argued according to Torah and Tanach, privileging kindness of heart.
Yeshua also showed that He was in agreement with orthodox Judaism by making the following statements:
- the Pharisees are seated on the seat of Moshe
- Yeshua invited people to do as they say, but with FULL KINDNESS OF HEART, discarding hypocrisy.
A clearer vision of who Yeshua is among Jewish people
Two important elements seem to indicate that more Jewish people are ready to welcome their Messiah:
-Ariel Cohen Colloro's project of second trial for Yeshua
- The existence of Sanhedrin haderech, the Sanhedrin of the Way, that is mainly composed of orthodox rabbis and Hassidim. These people ( who are not Messianic Jews) follow the Halacha and believe that Yeshua of Nazareth is the true Messiah of Israel.
One of mankind's drama is the lack of perception of the true Messiah of Israel.
Yeshua is not the founder of a new doctrine called "Christianity". Yeshua is one of His kinsmen, a true Israeli, who always used Torah treasures to teach His talmidim in depth and showed them how to apply it perfectly.
Yeshua showed and is still showing His disciples the way of compassion and forgiveness. But He also wants committment from His disciples. To be able to apply His sayings, one must delve deep into Hebraic thought: actually this is not an option, it is an obligation.
Be prepared, don't fail to recognize Israel's true Messiah!
He'll be coming in the clouds with might and glory. Do not let this day take you by surprise.

Prayer for the homeless during the current heatwave
Dear brothers and sisters,
We are currently experiencing a heatwave in Paris. Today, even at 8 pm, we have 37 C°. There is no air and it is quite unbearable, outside and inside ( worse outside, of course).
Please have heart to include the homeless in your prayers as they are much more exposed and fragile in front of the heat.
Thank you,
Isabelle
Please share this prayer with your friends:
"Dear Yeshua, thank you because you are our rescuer at all times. Please protect the people who are more fragile during this heatwave in Paris ( and elsewhere in the world) like the elderly and the homeless. Please feed the hungry and provide them with a shelter. In you we trust, Amen."

To the Creator, our lives matter
To our Creator, each of us is a unique masterpiece. We are loved and known intimately. We are important and HaShem desires a relationship with us.
When we realize about the greatness of our Lord, we envision how little and miserable we are as human beings. The little ants we are in the universe are nevertheless of very great value to our Maker.
Gideon said to the Lord: "Please, Lord, how can I save Israel? Behold, my clan is the weakest in Manasseh and I am the least in my father's house". (Judges 6: 15)
Prophet Yirmiyahu ( Jeremiah) spoke of himself as of an infant. Especially the ones who were supposed to be HaShem's voice had a belittleling vision of themselves.
I am convinced that HaShem chooses the complexed and the hurt persons to fulfill His plan.
Our eye is sometimes very critical towards our own person. This is often due to the fact that we have been hurt in our early childhood and adult life, sometimes by the individuals who were supposed to be our most intimate relatives or friends.
Even when we do have a strong relationship with Him, it is hard to imagine how much precious we are to our Lord.
Yesterday I stumbled upon the following piece of Scripture from Isaiah , Chapter 43...it also happens to be an exerpt of the Haftara from Sefer Bereshit ( Book of Genesis).
A love that is unconditional |
*******
Our existences DO matter to our Creator. If you doubted it, I invite you to read this specific portion of Scripture and to meditate on it.
During Shabbat, I reflected on Daniel's exile in Babylon. It was very hard for practicing Jewish children to be deported to Babylon. Even if Daniel and his fellow friends were well treated, they were also robbed from their Jewish I.D s and given pagan names.
Yet, they refused to conform to the customs of Babel regarding food and idolatry. Daniel and his friends' lives were put at risk on many occurences for being faithful to HaShem.
Even when the children were thrown into the fire, people could witness there was a fourth person walking with them. Daniel and his fellows met their Messiah in the furnace and the fire did not burn them.
The most difficult part for all of us, children of men, is to totally trust our Lord. When difficulties arise and in times of danger, we tend to forget that He is with us!
Remember the Torah verse from Deuteronomy, Chapter 46, verse 4:
" אָנֹכִי, אֵרֵד עִמְּךָ"
I myself will descend with you.
These are our Lord's words. No water, no fire will ever harm us, if we just accept to trust Him.
Our help comes from Him and to Him ALL the glory!
Amen

Debunking fabricated myths about Yeshua's hostility towards Hebrews
Some people are making strange faces when one mentions the "Jewish Messiah", "Jewish Yeshua" or " rabbi Yeshua of Nazareth". Never has there been a Greek Messiah..."Greek Jesus" is merely a distortion of Christianity due to the estrangement from Jewish communities for centuries.
Yeshua, announced by Moshe as one of his folks' kinsmen
Listening to Moshe's words in the Torah will make you understand that the Messiah had to be Jewish in ANY CASE. This is a prerequisite to be a valid candidate to Messianship ( which also dismisses Mohamed as a false prophet instantly).
"Adonai will raise up a prophet like me from among yourselves,from your own kinsmen.
You are to pay attention to him, just as you were assembled at Horev and requested Adonai your God, "Don't let me hear the voice of Adonai my God any more, or let me see this great fire again; if I do, I will die!"
On that occasion Adonai said to me:
" They are right in the way they are saying.
I will raise up for them a prophet like you among their kinsmen.
I will put my words in his mouth and he will tell them everything I order them."
Deuteronomy 18:15-18
A child of the Hebrews
May I remind everybody that Yeshua was raised as a Jewish child? He was circumcised on the 8th day and was presented to the Temple. His adoptive father Yosef and His mom Miryam strictly conformed the Torah of HaShem in each detail.
Read the Gospels instead of relying on Christianity's assumptions. Our Messiah is a child of the Hebrews who always taught Torah.
There is another fabrication from the Christian world, based on a total misunderstanding of the Galilean education of young children in the 1st century, that states "Yeshua knew everything without studying anything".
I beg to contradict this. When our Messiah was humbly born in our human condition, his brain was blank at birth and He had to re-learn what He knew before. How did He re-learn? By studying Torah with young children of His age, receiving education in Scriptures.
Some people are also stating "Yeshua could not read nor write". Little do you know about Jewish education if you are thinking that way! Every single child was being taught Torah by his own mother and then by a rabbi. Every child knew how to read and write in the holy language.
If Yeshua didn't have a Jewish education, He would not even have been admitted to the synagogue of Nazareth. At 12, no Jewish scholar would have wanted Him around at the Temple...
Yeshua is one of His people's kinsmen and as such, always speaks their language.
Yeshua's words have been misplaced, misunderstood and misquoted in many contexts ( like in the chapter of Mark 7 that speaks of ritual handwashing, not of " declaring all foods pure").
Yeshua's rough exchange of words with the Pharisees, that is nothing else but a rabbinic discussion have been distorted and depicted as a statement of hatred towards the whole Jewish nation. It is high time to restore the truth, now more than ever, because Messianic times of Yeshua's return are very close.
Quoting Yeshua in His own words will allow you to understand His love and concern for His folks
First and foremost, people ought to understand that Yeshua's primary purpose was and has always been Israel's Salvation. Yeshua's Coming in the first century is the fulfilling of Tanach promises.
Yeshua said: " I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel" in response to the Cananaanite woman's request. ( Matthew 15:24)
Note that this was a big test of faith for the foreign woman, who could have just turned away from Yeshua. Her faith saved her and her request was eventually granted.
Yeshua seems very strict by making this statement, yet He reminds each and everyone of His primarily purpose: the Salvation of Israel. Yeshua is the Messiah of Israel, before He is the Messiah of the nations. Therefore, we should all be clothed with modesty when grafted into HaShem's alliance, side by side with Israel, His chosen folks.
The Council of Nicea, evil emperor Constantine and a Christianity made of completely estranged people from Judaism created a monster: a distorted, Greek Messiah, who rejected Israel because they " killed Him".
While many people would prompt pointing an accusatory finger at catholic church, I'd like them to understand that, while catholic church carries the guilt of centuries of persecutions, forced conversions and pogroms against the Jews, protestants didn't do much better. If you don't believe me, here are Martin Luther's quotes about the Jews in his writings " The Jews and their lies" source: jewishlibrary.org)
I had made up my mind to write no more either about the Jews or against them. But since I learned that these miserable and accursed people do not cease to lure to themselves even us, that is, the Christians, I have published this little book, so that I might be found among those who opposed such poisonous activities of the Jews who warned the Christians to be on their guard against them. I would not have believed that a Christian could be duped by the Jews into taking their exile and wretchedness upon himself. However, the devil is the god of the world, and wherever God's word is absent he has an easy task, not only with the weak but also with the strong. May God help us. Amen.
* * *
He did not call them Abraham's children, but a "brood of vipers" [Matt. 3:7]. Oh, that was too insulting for the noble blood and race of Israel, and they declared, "He has a demon' [Matt 11:18]. Our Lord also calls them a "brood of vipers"; furthermore in John 8 [:39,44] he states: "If you were Abraham's children ye would do what Abraham did.... You are of your father the devil. It was intolerable to them to hear that they were not Abraham's but the devil's children, nor can they bear to hear this today.
* * *
Therefore the blind Jews are truly stupid fools...
* * *
Now just behold these miserable, blind, and senseless people ... their blindness and arrogance are as solid as an iron mountain.
* * *
Learn from this, dear Christian, what you are doing if you permit the blind Jews to mislead you. Then the saying will truly apply, "When a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into the pit" [cf. Luke 6:39]. You cannot learn anything from them except how to misunderstand the divine commandments...
* * *
Therefore be on your guard against the Jews, knowing that wherever they have their synagogues, nothing is found but a den of devils in which sheer selfglory, conceit, lies, blasphemy, and defaming of God and men are practiced most maliciously and veheming his eyes on them.
* * *
Moreover, they are nothing but thieves and robbers who daily eat no morsel and wear no thread of clothing which they have not stolen and pilfered from us by means of their accursed usury. Thus they live from day to day, together with wife and child, by theft and robbery, as archthieves and robbers, in the most impenitent security.
* * *
However, they have not acquired a perfect mastery of the art of lying; they lie so clumsily and ineptly that anyone who is just a little observant can easily detect it. But for us Christians they stand as a terrifying example of God's wrath.
* * *
If I had to refute all the other articles of the Jewish faith, I should be obliged to write against them as much and for as long a time as they have used for inventing their lies that is, longer than two thousand years.
* * *
...Christ and his word can hardly be recognized because of the great vermin of human ordinances. However, let this suffice for the time being on their lies against doctrine or faith.
* * *
Did I not tell you earlier that a Jew is such a noble, precious jewel that God and all the angels dance when he farts?
* * *
Alas, it cannot be anything but the terrible wrath of God which permits anyone to sink into such abysmal, devilish, hellish, insane baseness, envy, and arrogance. If I were to avenge myself on the devil himself I should be unable to wish him such evil and misfortune as God's wrath inflicts on the Jews, compelling them to lie and to blaspheme so monstrously, in violation of their own conscience. Anyway, they have their reward for constantly giving God the lie.
* * *
No, one should toss out these lazy rogues by the seat of their pants.
* * *
...but then eject them forever from this country. For, as we have heard, God's anger with them is so intense that gentle mercy will only tend to make them worse and worse, while sharp mercy will reform them but little. Therefore, in any case, away with them!
* * *
Over and above that we let them get rich on our sweat and blood, while we remain poor and they such the marrow from our bones.
* * *
I brief, dear princes and lords, those of you who have Jews under your rule if my counsel does not please your, find better advice, so that you and we all can be rid of the unbearable, devilish burden of the Jews, lest we become guilty sharers before God in the lies, blasphemy, the defamation, and the curses which the mad Jews indulge in so freely and wantonly against the person of our Lord Jesus Christ, this dear mother, all Christians, all authority, and ourselves. Do not grant them protection, safeconduct, or communion with us.... .With this faithful counsel and warning I wish to cleanse and exonerate my conscience.
* * *
Let the government deal with them in this respect, as I have suggested. But whether the government acts or not, let everyone at least be guided by his own conscience and form for himself a definition or image of a Jew.
* * *
However, we must avoid confirming them in their wanton lying, slandering, cursing, and defaming. Nor dare we make ourselves partners in their devilish ranting and raving by shielding and protecting them, by giving them food, drink, and shelter, or by other neighborly
* * *
Therefore we Christians, in turn, are obliged not to tolerate their wanton and conscious blasphemy.
* * *
Accordingly, it must and dare not be considered a trifling matter but a most serious one to seek counsel against this and to save our souls from the Jews, that is, from the devil and from eternal death.
* * *
What shall we Christians do with this rejected and condemned people, the Jews? Since they live among us, we dare not tolerate their conduct, now that we are aware of their lying and reviling and blaspheming. If we do, we become sharers in their lies, cursing and blasphemy. Thus we cannot extinguish the unquenchable fire of divine wrath, of which the prophets speak, nor can we convert the Jews. With prayer and the fear of God we must practice a sharp mercy to see whether we might save at least a few from the glowing flames. We dare not avenge ourselves. Vengeance a thousand times worse than we could wish them already has them by the throat. I shall give you my sincere advice:
First to set fire to their synagogues or schools and to bury and cover with dirt whatever will not burn, so that no man will ever again see a stone or cinder of them. This is to be done in honor of our Lord and of Christendom, so that God might see that we are Christians, and do not condone or knowingly tolerate such public lying, cursing, and blaspheming of his Son and of his Christians. For whatever we tolerated in the past unknowingly and I myself was unaware of it will be pardoned by God. But if we, now that we are informed, were to protect and shield such a house for the Jews, existing right before our very nose, in which they lie about, blaspheme, curse, vilify, and defame Christ and us (as was heard above), it would be the same as if we were doing all this and even worse ourselves, as we very well know.
Second, I advise that their houses also be razed and destroyed. For they pursue in them the same aims as in their synagogues. Instead they might be lodged under a roof or in a barn, like the gypsies. This will bring home to them that they are not masters in our country, as they boast, but that they are living in exile and in captivity, as they incessantly wail and lament about us before God.
Third, I advise that all their prayer books and Talmudic writings, in which such idolatry, lies, cursing and blasphemy are taught, be taken from them. (remainder omitted)
Fourth, I advise that their rabbis be forbidden to teach henceforth on pain of loss of life and limb. For they have justly forfeited the right to such an office by holding the poor Jews captive with the saying of Moses (Deuteronomy 17 [:10 ff.]) in which he commands them to obey their teachers on penalty of death, although Moses clearly adds: "what they teach you in accord with the law of the Lord." Those villains ignore that. They wantonly employ the poor people's obedience contrary to the law of the Lord and infuse them with this poison, cursing, and blasphemy. In the same way the pope also held us captive with the declaration in Matthew 16 {:18], "You are Peter," etc, inducing us to believe all the lies and deceptions that issued from his devilish mind. He did not teach in accord with the word of God, and therefore he forfeited the right to teach.
Fifth, I advise that safeconduct on the highways be abolished completely for the Jews. For they have no business in the countryside, since they are not lords, officials, tradesmen, or the like. Let they stay at home. (...remainder omitted).
Sixth, I advise that usury be prohibited to them, and that all cash and treasure of silver and gold be taken from them and put aside for safekeeping. The reason for such a measure is that, as said above, they have no other means of earning a livelihood than usury, and by it they have stolen and robbed from us all they possess. Such money should now be used in no other way than the following: Whenever a Jew is sincerely converted, he should be handed one hundred, two hundred, or three hundred florins, as personal circumstances may suggest. With this he could set himself up in some occupation for the support of his poor wife and children, and the maintenance of the old or feeble. For such evil gains are cursed if they are not put to use with God's blessing in a good and worthy cause.
Seventh, I commend putting a flail, an ax, a hoe, a spade, a distaff, or a spindle into the hands of young, strong Jews and Jewesses and letting them earn their bread in the sweat of their brow, as was imposed on the children of Adam (Gen 3[:19]}. For it is not fitting that they should let us accursed Goyim toil in the sweat of our faces while they, the holy people, idle away their time behind the stove, feasting and farting, and on top of all, boasting blasphemously of their lordship over the Christians by means of our sweat. No, one should toss out these lazy rogues by the seat of their pants.
* * *
But what will happen even if we do burn down the Jews' synagogues and forbid them publicly to praise God, to pray, to teach, to utter God's name? They will still keep doing it in secret. If we know that they are doing this in secret, it is the same as if they were doing it publicly. for our knowledge of their secret doings and our toleration of them implies that they are not secret after all and thus our conscience is encumbered with it before God.
* * *
Accordingly, it must and dare not be considered a trifling matter but a most serious one to seek counsel against this and to save our souls from the Jews, that is, from the devil and from eternal death. My advice, as I said earlier, is:
First, that their synagogues be burned down, and that all who are able toss in sulphur and pitch; it would be good if someone could also throw in some hellfire. That would demonstrate to God our serious resolve and be evidence to all the world that it was in ignorance that we tolerated such houses, in which the Jews have reviled God, our dear Creator and Father, and his Son most shamefully up till now but that we have now given them their due reward.
* * *
I wish and I ask that our rulers who have Jewish subjects exercise a sharp mercy toward these wretched people, as suggested above, to see whether this might not help (though it is doubtful). They must act like a good physician who, when gangrene has set in, proceeds without mercy to cut, saw, and burn flesh, veins, bone, and marrow. Such a procedure must also be followed in this instance. Burn down their synagogues, forbid all that I enumerated earlier, force them to work, and deal harshly with them, as Moses did in the wilderness, slaying three thousand lest the whole people perish. They surely do not know what they are doing; moreover, as people possessed, they do not wish to know it, hear it, or learn it. There it would be wrong to be merciful and confirm them in their conduct. If this does not help we must drive them out like mad dogs, so that we do not become partakers of their abominable blasphemy and all their other vices and thus merit God's wrath and be damned with them. I have done my duty. Now let everyone see to his. I am exonerated. "

God killer myth: a made-up lie
The "God killer myth" is the product of Christianity. To be honest, the more I discover about Christianity, the more I want to step away from it for ever.
This is what our rabbi Yeshua, the Messiah of Israel and Savior of the world says:
"No one will take it ( my life) from me, but rather I myself will give it. It is in my hand to give, and it is in my hand to return and take it. I have received this mitsvah from my Father."
John 10:18 Delitzsch Hebrew Gospels
Picture taken in Gethsemane in April 2007-please ask prior any use |
Also, remember Yeshua's words in Gethsemane:
"Do you say in your heart that I am not able to ask now of my Father and He would command for me more than twelve legions of angels. But then how would the Scriptures be fulfilled that this is surely how it will be?" "Matthew 26:53-54 Delitzsch Hebrew Gospels
Yeshua had to die, because it was in HaShem's plan. Yeshua had to be rejected, for the nations to access Salvation. So think twice before spitting on Israel. Had Israel accepted the Messiah straight away, your way to Salvation may have been more restricted.
Be modest. Being grafted into the Alliance is a great privilege, even greater than you may realize.
The Gospels belong to the Jews at first. It is high time to bail the real Yeshua out to His folks.
Come soon, Lord Yeshua! Amen.

Soft thoughts about "my" Galilee: a few reflections about rabbi Yeshua's soil
N.B: all photos are personal pictures taken during my April trip to Israel...they are subject to copyright...please ask prior any use...thank you.
Galilee...I've just seen tiny parts of you and I am already calling you "my" Galilee!
I think that no place on earth has impacted my soul as much as you did. Should I describe heaven on earth, I'd speak of you.
Galilee is more than just a region in Israel. Your feet need to step there to fully understand what I am speaking about. Its flavor is very unique; it blends the heights of the mountains with the beauty of still waters. The wealthy vegetation combines subtle shades of color.
Rabbi Yeshua, the Galilean, a Jewish Israeli, a true "tsabar"( born and raised in Israel, not the Westerner Christianity has made of Him)
From Tel Aviv, egged bus 836 will drive you to Tiberias. Expect two hours and a half ride.
Stepping into Tiberias ( pronounced Tveriah in Hebrew) will leave you an exquisite taste of the divine Presence. Kinneret lake is enveloped in the Spirit.
Coming near the Sea of Galilee will allow you to sense the Ruach ( the Spirit) hovering over the lake.
My first trip to Kinneret was such a beautiful, emotional, mystical encounter. I was just overwhelmed by the beauty of the place. Although my eyes didn't see Him in this very moment, I was enveloped into Yeshua's mantle of grace. It is hard to describe, because this is something you experience while being there. The sight of the lake got me weeping like a little child...
There is something so innocent and pure about the Sea of Galilee...a sense of peace and eternity arise from this place. The superficial layers of water will unveil some tiny stones at the surface. Every tiny space will silently remind you of rabbi Yeshua's deeds.
Walking upwards, to the heights of Tiberias is another beautiful adventure.
Tiberias is the home of many famous rabbis, such as rabbi Akiva and Maimonides, for instance.
I visited rabbi Akiva's tomb on my second visit to Tiberias. The place is a space of devotion and prayer to many Jews.
There is an entire room filled with prayer books. As I opened the Book of Tehilim, I found Psalm 1.
"Blessed is the man[
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
2 but his delight is in the law of the Lord,
and on his law he meditates day and night..."
Yeshua of Nazareth
Nazareth...what can I say about Nazareth?
The town was not on my program, but our rabbi decided otherwise.
Nazareth still looks like a little village. Due to the lack of time on Yom HaShoah, I only visited it partly ( I haven't been to the very heights of the city). But my overall impression was that the town has been left quite untouched for 2000 years. Old Nazareth still looks very ancient in its architecture and the white stones are amazingly beautiful.
There are many reminders of Yeshua's mom in Nazareth-even restaurants are named after her.
My only disappointment is that old Nazareth seems to have lost its Jewish character. I have been told of the remains of an old synagogue, but I was unable to find it...the Jewish quarters of modern Nazareth are called Nazareth Illit...I've driven through them via bus.
The stones and the landscapes are unforgettable to me.

Reaching the heights of Tiberias is such a splendid experience. I wanted to capture each moment for ever.
