True understanding comes from the Holy Spirit (exerpt from "Heart of a Savior")

«Not by power, nor by might, but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty. » (Zachariah 4:6)

«Then Yeshua said to them, «How foolish you are, how slow you are to believe everything the prophets said! Was it not necessary for the Messiah to suffer these things and then to enter his glory? And Yeshua explained to them what was said about himself in all the Scriptures, beginning with the books of Moses and the writings of all the prophets.» (Luke 24:25-27)

« My sweet Lord, I noticed that you introduced me into a new habit of studying your Word. »
« Yes, my child, I want you to bathe deeply into the themes you are writing about. Knowledge isn't everything. One must receive a clear sight thanks to the Holy Spirit.
Most people write and deliver insights about biblical texts from their intellect. This is why many articles you are reading appear so lifeless. How could a dry tree bear fruit ? Using your brain is, of course, necessary, but real clarity always originates from the Holy Spirit.
This is the reason why so many scholars are rigid and unkind : they don't understand that they must humble themselves before me prior any biblical study. I give spiritual knowledge. Because they are « Middle-East experts », or because they did some fine research, some people think they know everything. As long as one boasts with arrogance (regardless of their denomination), he is just fooling himself.

You are talking about me, Yeshua, the Other, the One you don't know at all- and you don't even bother to ask me about the significance of my own words!
You do not believe that I am alive; otherwise you 'd seek me and ask me before you come up with meaningless theories about me!
The proud will be humiliated and the humble will be elevated. This is a spiritual law. How can these people pretend to be mine when they are reluctant to work with the Holy Spirit ?
Let me tell you, proud scholars: you do not know me and my Spirit does not reside inside of you. Your hearts are corrupt and so are your writings. Ironically, you are pointing at 1st Century Pharisees, and you are 100 times worse than the ones you are slating.
I will remunerate each and everyone after their hearts. Do not be scared of humans, fear me. I have the power to scan your inside ; nothing escapes me. I created you, why don't you fear me?»
«Oh Lord, I confess my ignorance before you. For stories that I have heard hundred times, new meanings arise with the help of your Holy Spirit. Teach me and I will listen.»
«Child, as you know, the Holy Spirit is giving life to the Scriptures.
Think of the disciples of Emmaüs-reflect on how their hearts were warming up when I explained them Scriptures.
You know my daughter, too many people are speaking of me. Some of them are using my Name to hate and to destroy. A lot of people are hiding their own iniquities by joining an assembly. They wrongly think that their regular attendance will protect them from my anger.
They appear as rightful in front of their leaders, but their hearts are very corrupt and greedy. They are following the customs of the world.

The time is approaching when everybody will be rewarded after the content of their hearts. My Day will break out very surprisingly. Be ready and exhort others to be ready. »
« Lord, please have mercy. Please bring Salvation to the ones who still can be saved. »
« There are still souls that will access Salvation despite the father of perdition's efforts to corrupt most people.
Woe unto all these mighty people who corrupt the souls of little children, calling good « evil » and evil « good. »
None of them will be left unpunished. If people knew how terrible it is to stand before me when I come for judgment, they'd accept my scarifice and let me into their hearts.
Child, since I entered your heart, did you notice how I changed you ?
I am mending your heart, I am restoring your spirit with my light. I am also changing your perspective. I invested you with a great mission. People will be attracted to your message. Trust my Spirit that is leading you.
Never boast about this, my daughter. I confer strength and I am making people weak.

Beware, sect leaders and false teachers : who is going to protect you from my anger ? All your pride will fall. When the curtain closes and your comedy is over, you will understand how vain you were. But it will be too late for you worshippers of the devil. All of your harsh, merciless spirits, you'll get what you deserve. I can see corrupt hearts who do not wish to give up their ways. There is no repentance. I keep warning the world that has no idea about the events to come. Pharaoh didn't want to listen either, back in the days, and you know what happened to him. »

"Talitha koumi": the resurrection of a young girl

                                                    Mark:22-43
                                                    Matthew 9:18-25
                                                    Luke 8:41-56

The synoptic Gospels report the dramatic story of a father (who happens to be one of the synagogue's responsibles), whose daughter is dying. His name, Jairus (translated in Greek, probably corresponds to the Hebrew Uri, which comes from the Hebrew word, ohr, light),
This story is intertwined with the story of a woman suffering from a blood flood. One could justifiably ask: "Why was this story inserted in the middle of another dramatic story?"
Matter of fact, the haemorrhage woman is delaying Yeshua in His healing mission because she is in a desperate need of healing too.
Like in the story of Eleazar's (Lazarus') resurrection, Yeshua seems to show up when everything seems lost; yet our Lord's timing is perfect at all times.

The young girl had to die for Hashem's glory to be manifested.
Rather than relying on traditional interpretations of these biblical episodes, I asked Yeshua to give me some insights about the resurrection of this little, 12 year old girl.

I will share with you what I received from Him, what I understood and how I am perceiving this story.
Be ready for a non-conventional interpretation, also based on my (very little) comprehension of the Hebrew language. However, before we begin, I will post the story for you to re-read it, once again, possibly, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

The story in the Gospel of Mark (Tree of Life version)

"Then one of the synagogue leaders, named Jairus, comes. Seeing Him, he falls at His feet. He begs Him a great deal, saying, "My little daughter is near death! Come and lay hands on her so she may be healed and live!

So Yeshua went off with him and a big crowd was following Him and pressing upon Him. And there was a woman with a blood flow for twelve years, who had suffered much under many doctors. She had spent all she had without benefit; instead, she grew worse.
When she heard about Yeshua, she came through th crowd from behind and touched His garment. For she kept saying, "If I touch even His clothes, I shall be healed." Right away the blood flow stopped and she felt in her body that she was healed from her disease. At once, Yeshua, knowing in Himself that power had gone out from Him, turned around in the crowd and said: "Who touched me? But He kept looking around to see who had done this. But the woman, scared and shaking, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. And He said to her: "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in shalom and be healed from your disease.

While Yeshua was still speaking, messengers come from the house of the synagogue leader, saying, "Your daughter is dead. Why do you still trouble the Teacher? But ignoring what they said, Yeshua tells the synagogue leader: "Do not be afraid; only believe." He did not let anyone follow Him except Peter, Jacob and John, the brother of Jacob.
They come to the house of the synagogue leader. He sees a commotion, people weeping and wailing loudly.
After entering, He said to them: "Why make such a fuss and weep. The child didn't die, but is sleeping." They start jeering at Him. But after sending them all out, He takes the child's father and mother, and those with Him, and enters where the child was.
Then, taking hold of the child's hand, He tells her: "Talitha koum", which means, "Little girl, I say to you, get up." Immediately, the girl stood up and began to walk around! (She was twelve years old). And they were overcome with astonishment. But He gave them strict orders that no one should know about this, and He said something to eat should be given to her.

Jairus' request

Jairus, as a responsible of the synagogue, represents a certain spiritual authority. Yet the man humbles himself before Yeshua, as he begs Him to lay hands on his daughter, so she may live.
He believes that Yeshua has the power to heal his daughter, no matter how desperate his daughter's condition might look like. Mark's report also gives us some precious hints, after telling the story of the haemorrhage woman, that Jairus believes in the resurrection. His daughter is dead, but he hasn't given up any hope and keeps "bothering" the Master.

A delayed request

There is a display of two personal dramas: Jairus banging for his daughter and the sick woman who is in a desperate need of healing.

The story of the haemorrhage woman, when put into a correct Hebrew context, teaches us that she touched the tsitsit of Yeshua's tallit, which has a full meaning in Jewish customs. I won't expand on the details, that are very well explained in the link I gave you.
However, I'd like to point out that I discovered another astonishing correlation with Yeshua's tallit in the second part of the story.

The symbolic of the number 12

There is a common point between Jairus' daughter, who is 12 years old, and the sick woman who suffered for 12 years.
Number 12 is not just any number in Jewish culture. Among other meaningful symbols, it also represents the sons of Jacob, the tribes of Israel, and traditionally, the age of Bar Mitsvah.

When a child reaches the age of 12, the young person enters adulthood, spiritually speaking.

The dismissal of the whiners

We all should take note that Yeshua will never ever perform a miracle for us if we are negatively minded and completely lack faith. All miracles happen with our participation.

Yeshua only takes with Him the ones who truly walk by faith.

The final story: Aramaic words, tallit, rising up , Holy Spirit

I spent a few days on this biblical episode. I sought its deep meaning, I even sought it in tears.
I asked Yeshua to give me more insights, did some research in Aramaic and Hebrew, and finally let the whole story resonate into my spirit.

I will share with all of you what I received from our Lord Yeshua.

Mark is the only evangelist who reports Yeshua's words in His native language, Aramaic. There is a translation available, but I wanted to go beyond words, so I did some research.

Yeshua calls the young girl "Talitha". Apparently "Talitha" does not refer to any name. The word "Talia" in Aramaic is linked with the general meaning of "youthful".
I do think, that Aramaic and Hebrew are intimately linked, and that Yeshua mastered both languages in the 1st Century. The etymology of Talitha is just fascinating and you will find plenty of precious info about the words that are linked with it in Aramaic and Hebrew.

Why did I dig so deep into research? It is because I want to understand the work of the Holy Spirit.
From all the secondary strand of words mentioned in the precious article, "tallit" and "talay" with the meaning of "lifting up" are strongly speaking to my soul.

I begged Yeshua again for more insights and this is what I saw.
As our Lord pronounced "Talitha koumi" (in a loud voice, as stated in the Gospel of Luke, chapter 8, verse 54), He also said (even if this second meaning appeared to be hidden when He pronounced it) "i lift you up", then "koumi", "rise up".
A Jewish believer named David, whose video I shared recently made this very insightful comment : "Yeshua called the young girl "Talitha" as a feminine form of "tallit" as He wrapped her into His tallit". I do believe too that His prayer shawl played a major role, as the tallit collects daily the prayers of Israel that glorify Hashem's Name."

Being wrapped into Yeshua's tallit is like being wrapped into His Spirit, this is what He also showed me. In the resurrection of Jairus' daughter, we contemplate the Holy Spirit's force at work.

psalm 121 song in Hebrew and English

Yeshua blessed me with a third visitation

Just as I was writing the article about prophets and prophecy, I was blessed with a third visitation from Yeshua. It all happened so fast and unexpectedly...I didn't expect to write something else just after my article, but I want to share Yeshua's love with you all. I am posting this picture of tenderness above, that does not really correspond to my visitation, but rather to how Yeshua makes me feel right now: loved beyond measure.

Before I start speaking about the visitation itself, I'd like to share with you what I experienced this afternoon while walking outside.
I have developed, through the months, a real affection with the Hebrew language. I was drawn to singing the specific verse 5 of Psalm 23, in Hebrew. I repeated the second part of verse 5, while chanting: "dishanta bashemen roshi kossi revaya." ( You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows).
I let the words resonate and penetrate deeply into me and a strong vision imposed itself before my eyes: I saw a big cup before my eyes, but it was filled with grape juice. I heard the words: "kossi yeshuati", the cup of my Salvation...It became clear to me that the blessing mentioned in Psalm 23 was intimately linked with our Messiah's sacrifice of love.

I thanked Yeshua, over and over again, for His immense love.

As I went back home, I was pushed to write an article about prophets and prophecy.

While writing it, I intended to make a little pause. I put my hand onto my heart and said: "Lord, I love you."
I was about to get up from my sofa and glanced upwards. I then saw Yeshua standing above me. This time, our Lord had His hair loose and He was wearing a very white, shiny robe that had a belt on it.

Yeshua was looking at me...I was just in total awe...i then addressed our Lord telepathically: "Lord is this really you?"
Without using His voice, Yeshua answered to me: "my daughter, why are you so surprised again to see me?"

I am feeling so loved and this love I want to share with you.

God bless you all.

The role of the prophets in the Bible

                                                  The calling of Samuel

God uses His servants in different ways. Throughout the whole Scriptures we will find different prophet figures who played an important role all over the centuries.
What is a prophet? A prophet is a set apart, chosen servant that Hashem uses specifically to foretell things that are to come or to call people to repentance.
As a child, I was very much influenced by movies about Moses. I was impressed with his role, and I remember telling my father: "he's so lucky to have been a prophet...I too would like to be a prophet."
My father explained to me that most prophets were doing their job unwillingly and that it was a very difficult task.
Our Lord has set me apart and anointed me, yet He didn't make me a prophet (although He gave me a few prophetic visions), He made me a disciple and asked me not to add to my title, which is something I do respect at all times.

So what is the difference between a normal servant, a priest or a prophet?

The role of a prophet

The prophet/ prophetess is the Eternal's voice to a multitude. Hashem can speak through him or her through visions, paraboles, signs and miracles. The prophet's own life can be symbolic for the message God wants to spread to His people.

The prophet sometimes has to make very unpleasant statements. Usually, a prophet is not very popular. Many prophets in the Bible were persecuted and murdered for telling Hashem's truth.

Enoch is less spoken about, but he is one of the first prophets mentioned in the Book of Genesis.

"Enoch lived sixty five years, and became the father of Methuselah. Then Enoch walked with God three hundred years after he became the father of Methuselah, and he had other sons and daughters. So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and fifty-five years. Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him. (Genesis 5:21-24)

Enoch must have had a special place in God's heart, because after sin was introduced into the garden of Eden, Enoch did not know the decay of physical death. He was directly taken to Hashem.

Enoch is mentioned again in the epistle of Jude, where his prophetic mission is clearly defined:

"It was also about these men that Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, pophesied, saying: "Behold, the Lord came with many thousands of His holy ones, to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their ungodly deeds which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him" (Jude 14-15)

Many servants who walked with God are being called prophets.
In Genesis 20:7, Hashem reveals Abimelech that Abraham is a prophet.

There are too many prophets that are mentioned in the Bible to go through all of them individually, but let us examine the criteria of biblical prophecy.

Biblical prophecy: what makes a prophet?

Chosen since the beginning, set apart and anointed, the prophet is an inspired man. The Spirit of God resides within him.

The Bible is very clear about who is a real prophet.
Deuteronomy 18, verses 21 and 22, offer us a clear teaching about prophecy: " You may say in your heart, "how will we know the word which the Lord has not spoken? When a prophet speaks in the Name of the Lord, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him."

Usually, the Lord reveals Himself in visions and dreams. However, Moshe (Moses) was privileged, because he encountered Hashem panim el panim (face to face).
"When there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams. But this is not true of my servant Moses; he is faithful in all my house. With him I speak face to face, clearly and not in riddles, he sees the form of the Lord. Why then are you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?" (Numbers 12:6-8)

One very important criteria is the accuracy of the prophecy:

"When all this comes true-and it surely will-then they will know that a prophet has been among them." Ezechiel 33.33

"As for the prophet who prophesies peace, when the word of that prophet will come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the Lord has truly sent him." Jeremiah 28.9

Note that the prophet has to be a 100% correct. Otherwise, he'll be dismissed as a fraud. The Scriptures are very clear about it. So do not let anybody who comes up with the pompous title of "prophet" fool you. Is a real prophet the one who has been designed by our Lord. One cannot improvise him as a prophet.

The calling of Samuel gives us the example of a true calling from Hashem.
In the beginning, Samuel has to learn how to recognize our Lord's voice.
Without being a prophet, I had this amazing experience of hearing Yeshua's voice in a very audible way. When this happens at first, it is always a very surprising experience, but as our Lord repeated His calling, I became able to recognize His voice and to react to it immediately when He was speaking to me.
But  Samuel's calling ends with an unpleasant, prophetic message that the young boy is supposed to deliver to the priest Eli.

Yeshua our Lord Himself is defined as the "prophet like Moses", announced by Moses in the Torah.

You will also recognize a true prophet by his humbleness and his will do our Lord's will, should he lose his life.

In conclusion, there are many pretenders, but not anybody can be a prophet for they are chosen, set apart and anointed for their very specific missions God has prepared for them.

David is a Jewish believer in Yeshua

The true disciple knows (from "Heart of a Savior")

« Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn a man against his father,a daughter against her mother,a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law-a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.

Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. »

Matthew 10:34-38

Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man! Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for so their fathers did to the prophets. (Luke 6:22-23)

« My dear child, do not expect to be understood. You'll often be misquoted. Some people might put dirt on you when your intent is totally pure. My beloved daughter, true discipleship costs you everything. You know it. It isn't easy to have me as a friend. At the time I walked the earth, some of the disciples I had, besides the Twelve, departed from me, because my words made them feel uncomfortable.
Child, I am not hiding this from you : sometimes your eyes will be filled with tears. They will slate you for being mine. I never hid from my disciples that they'd be persecuted for following me.
The truth is hard to swallow ; notice that many people want the bright sight of discipleship. They want to see miracles, healings and the beauty of my light, but when comes persecution, they flee from me.I do not condemn them, though. Not every human is able to understand and to carry the hardships of discipleship. Some individuals are just disciples of a moment, yet they swear they'll stay forever. It is the Holy Spirit that will give you strength and root you deeply into me. Therefore one must ask for guidance from the Spirit and trust me at all times.
Child, you are chosen. Because you are chosen, you are being taught discipleship. I told you that I want to be your sole teacher. All this time spent in silence is your teaching in the desert. Your ears can only catch my words when your mind is completely silent. You'll be called a fool many times by the most foolish ones. I am teaching you detachment in a way very few disciples will reach. It doesn't go without pain. Child, it isn't easy. Just trust me. You desire closeness between us ; it will be granted to you. The more you'll reach detachment, the closer to me you'll be. »
« My sweet Lord, it sometimes feels lonely to be a disciple of yours. I turned my back on many earthly passions in order to gain the wealth of your kingdom. Yeshua, keep guiding me. Your precious friendship is my highest good. You made me a disciple. Give me strength to bear what I have to carry for your love's sake. The more I am advancing with you, the more I am aware of my incapacity to love. Teach me how to love, Lord. Help me, Holy Spirit, to act according to my Lord's wisdom. Help me treat people with kindness. »
« You will be able to contemplate the very depths of my heart, this is a privilege that is denied to many. I let you travel through my mind and see through my eyes. Your Savior is love ; love is not what most people think it is. It goes together with acceptance, detachment and humbleness. It implies empathy. I've shown you that some people are into prison because of their own attitudes ; be merciful, because they are unaware of it. Look at everybody with my eyes. I'll unveil details of their inner being to you. The hateful and the aggressive person are people in deep pain and anguish, self-stabbing people. They don't know that most of their pains are self-inflicted. I've healed such people.
Child, you are often wondering why physical healing in my Name does not occur straight away. The reason is simple : I need to cure people's hearts before I am healing their bodies.
Your own heart is still wounded and bleeding, child. Let me heal your heart completelty. Let me give you more strength, before I can heal your body. Do not despair about your physical healing, each step is necessary.
You must trust the wisdom of my timing. »

Lechoo Venashuva Music Video

Speeding up the work of the Spirit

Who has ascended up into heaven, or descended? who has gathered the wind in his fists? who has bound the waters in a garment? who has established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if you can tell? (Proverbs 30:4)

fig tree.jpg
« My daughter, time is counted. The work of the Holy Spirit will be accelerated for all nations and especially Israel, to hear the Good News.
Many orthodox rabbis will step up as enemies of the Truth.
My child, you must understand that if the simple Israeli sometimes has no clue about me being the Messiah, a lot of rabbis do know and are unwilling to state the truth for two main reasons : they don't want corporate Christianity to take over and they are afraid of losing all they have by confessing my Name. The situation is very complex.
Some rabbis also secretely believe in me, talk to me in their four walls at night, but they'd rather die than admit to being disciples.
Yet let me tell you, my child, the Holy Spirit is going to break all boundaries and you are going to witness massive conversions. My Name will make big headlines-not in the way it already happened in Israel. This time it is going to be HUGE. My Name will be on most mouths and eyes will be opened.
In addition, archeologists are going to excavate proofs that will confirm the truth I've spoken in the 1st Century.
Israel is going to return to me.
So my dear children, you are invested with a mission : spread my word as much as possible ; reach out to the greatest number of people.
Your king will reward you. Have courage, dear children, for I am coming soon.
As much as you will see evil forces, you will see a new wind blow. The Holy Spirit's word is unstoppable. Rejoice for great Salvation is on its way to Israel."

God Responds to Jewish Anti-Missionary Rabbis PERSONALLY! Must Hear!

Yeshua heals Nikky from sexual abuse

The courage to give testimony ( exclusive exerpt of Heart of a Savior)

« Behold I have refined you, but not as silver ;
I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. » Isaiah 48:10

« Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God » Matthew 5:8

« My sweet Yeshua, I watched the video of a brother who said that most believers who did not have a real encounter with you are not interested in giving testimony. I believe this to be totally true.

Even though we had met, I was terrified to testify about you in the beginning. But as our friendship grows, I am becoming more daring in speaking about you. »

« My daughter, you have my Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will always push you to testimony. Most of these believers think they are having the Holy Spirit, because they belong to an assembly or because their pastor told them so.
You know by your own experience that possessing the Holy Spirit makes the whole difference. It is my Spirit that gives you dreams and visions. The Holy Spirit will reveal you hidden secrets and confirm my presence inside of you.
Not everybody can bear testimony and I give my Spirit to the ones my Father chooses.
Happy are you, because you can see, my child. Many people wish they had experienced 10% of what you have been shown.
I accept people as they are, all of them. Everybody is welcome to come to me, but how many are willing to let me purify their hearts ?

I become visible to the pure hearts ; it is a true promise. There is nothing theoretical in this sentence. The more one is willing to give up mundane attachments, the closer I will become to them.

Discipleship requires committment, but even much more. If one really loves me, the person must not only be obedient, but they must be willing to deny themselves. Who is willing to do that for me ?
Child, very few have this type of faith. A chosen few only reach this level of faith. I already told you that most people will flee from the picture of my crucifixion. To be able to preach the Resurrection, one must have received insights about my Suffering.

My daughter, do not look for human beings' approval, should they be your closest relatives. Understand that people are unstable and changing ; the same people who are praising you one day are the ones who are eager to send you to death tomorrow (figuratively or in real life).

This a truth very few can bear.

Trust your Lord only-trust me despite any circumstance. Do not rely on appearances. You must walk by faith and trust my promises. I love you. I allowed you to come very close and I am taking you even closer. Child, you'll ascend my mountain.
There are things your heart cannot carry for the moment. You must trust the process ; walk with me in humbleness.
Child, everything you will find on your path is a sign of my love. I love you beyond anything you could imagine and your soul will be in awe as you'll keep advancing.
I know you have renounced a lot of things, for my love's sake. I will reward you. I know that your love for me is pure ; I love you so much for that. I moves my heart when I look at you. Remember I created you ; I can read the depth of your heart. Child, sometimes you will suffer, because I have taken you out of this world. You will feel the loneliness of the citizens of Heaven. Have courage, my daughter, let me lead.
Keep giving your testimony by your own means. I know you are not the « public speaker type », like Moshe my servant. Do not worry about this.
Spread my Word, my Good News with the tools I gave you. You are anointed.

Your destiny is in my hands. I know your path. »

« My beloved, your will be done. I want to walk with you, my best friend. »

« I gave you the verse of Matthew 5:8.
Now I want you to let it enter into the very depths of your soul. »

« I'll meditate on it, my love ; I'll let the Holy Spirit deepen my understanding as I repeat it in your loving presence. I love you, Lord ; I dearly love you. »

« Seek me in the crypt of your Temple. There I reside forever. »

The Sermon On The Mount (Matthew 5-7) in Modern Israeli Hebrew

Jesus Appears and Saves 2 Muslim Children Buried Alive!!!

Yeshua, light of the world: birth of a child

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given (Isaiah 9:6)

Although I am deeply convinced that our Messiah was born on Sukkoth (many biblical references, when read INTO CONTEXT, point at Sukkoth or Feast of the Tabernacles), I want to set apart this particular time of the year during which many Christians celebrate our Messiah's birth to reflect on our Messiah's venue on earth.
Nothing is more beautiful than to think that Abba loved each of us-individually to offer us His most precious gift. Yeshua became as fragile as a baby in order to show us godly love.
Yeshua, as He approached me, is the most gentle person I have ever met. Since this powerful encounter I had with Him, I started reading the New Testament with new eyes.
Yeshua revealed Himself to me as Yeshua haMaschiach, the Jewish Messiah.

I am so much conscious that all New Testament references really make sense  when interpreted rightly after Torah and Tanakh.
I have been accused to "hate Christians", because I want to examine Yeshua's sayings at the light of the Torah. No, I don't hate anyone and there are wonderful Christians who love Yeshua with all their hearts, but I am not in agreement with the mistakes introduced into Christianity.

I want Truth for my Messiah is the Truth and I will walk in truth as long as I live.

What the Gospel teaches us about Zachariah and Elisabeth

The Gospel of Luke teaches us  that Zachariah was a priest of the class of Abia. In the next sentence we are being told that his wife, Elisabeth, was of the priestly line of Aaron. The high priests, like all levitical priests, belonged to the line of Aaron.

Does this matter? Yes, it certainly does matter.

Both, Zachariah and Elisabeth were strict Torah observants. They were obedient to the Commandments of Hashem. It also means that the one people are calling "John the Baptist" is not anyone.

The birth of their son Yokhanan was the fulfilling of a prophecy. In the Gospel of Matthew, Yokhanan is referred to as the "voice in the wilderness", quoting the Book of Isaiah : "Prepare the way of the Lord; make His path straight." (Isaiah 40:3)

Yeshua spoke of Yokhanan as Elyahou the prophet, according to the prophecy of Malachi:

"See I will send the prophet Elyahou before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. (Malachi 4:5. )

"And if you are willing to accept it, he is Elyahou, who was to come." (Matthew 11:14)

One must also know that Jewish families who celebrate the Seder (the Passover meal) always leavean empty seat and an empty cup for prophet Elyahou whose coming must precede the coming of the Maschiach.

The birth of our Messiah on Sukkhot

John 1:14: The word  became flesh and dwelt among us.

A correct translation of "dwelt" from the Greek renders "tabernacled" with is a very clear reference to the feast of Tabernacles.

Also, one needs to do away with the folkloric representation of the creche to realize that Yosef, Miriam's husband act was to install his son into a Sukkah.

Many Messianic Jews believe that the date of birth of our Messiah can actually be calculated, based on the accounts of the Gospel of Luke. It is clearly stated that our Messiah was conceived 6 months after His cousin Yokhanan. The website Jewish roots gives us more accurate precisions about an actual calculation of the date of birth of our Messiah, according to the Jewish calender and to Zachariah's ministery at the Temple.

The following website also reveals us some interesting details about Yeshua's birth, from a Jewish point of view.

Also meteorology in Israel at the time of Yeshua's venue shows us that we were not in winter:

"And she gave birth to her firstborn and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no plae for them in the inn. And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night." (Luke 2:7-8)

Knowing that the weather conditions in winter in Israel are very different from this description, usually cold and rainy, shepherds would not have been able to watch over their flock as they were doing it in the story of Luke.

If you want to have more evidence, check out this detailed article.

The most important we must remember about Yeshua's coming in flesh is that our Savior accepted to take our human condition. He is our greatest gift, ever. Through Him we are delivered from our sins.
Blessed be His Name, for ever and ever. Amen.

A child, aged 12, named Yeshua, disappears in Jerusalem

NB:There is a story behind this picture that was created by the Italian police after the Shroud of Turin. This is how Yeshua is supposed to have looked like as a child. He looks like a Jewish person  in this computerized pic (personally I wouldn't object.)

A child disappears

Have you ever lost your child, even for a few hours? If yes, you know the anguish of a parent seeking their child. This misadventure happened to me a few years ago, on the day before Christmas eve. My youngest son , aged 8 suddenly vanished from the crowd, in my hometown. My eldest son and I panicked at first, but luckily, my youngest found his way home and was back after an hour or so.

The gospel of Luke, chapter 2 reports the story of Yeshua in the Temple of Jerusalem.

Miriam and her husband Yosef were devout and practicing Jews. By showing up to celebrate Pessakh in Jerusalem, they obeyed the commandment of Deuteronomy 16:16:

"Three times in a year shall all your males appear before the Lord your God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of Tabernacles."

The couple was traveling with many relatives and friends.

Yeshua at the Temple

After having accomplished their duty, Yosef and Miriam were on their way home to Nazareth, when they suddenly noticed the young boy's absence.

After three days of non-stop search and anguish, having returned to Jerusalem, Miriam and Yosef eventually find Yeshua at the Temple, listening to the rabbis and interrogating them about the Torah.
It is quite common in Jewish customs for rabbis to question children. But twelve year old Yeshua, stands out for His uncommon wisdom.
To His parents' anguish Yeshua responds with the purpose of His mission: to be in the House of His Father. He points to His true filiation with Abba.

Yosef and Miriam must have felt very confused in this moment.
The recovery of Yeshua after 3 days is very symbolic: the recovery at the Temple  is a prefiguration of the Resurrection.

The Gospel of Luke would dismiss anybody who thought of a young adolescent's rebellion against his parents. It clearly states that Yeshua went back to Nazareth and  was obedient to them.

The last sentence is the most interesting: "And Yeshua grew in wisdom and stature; and in favor before God and man" (Luke 2:52)

We know very little about our Savior's "lost years". The infancy gospel of Thomas is a gnostic text that tells a few stories about Yeshua as a child. However, reports about our Savior's childhood are very rare in the official sources. One can imagine that the writers of the Gospels either didn't know much or they wanted to preserve Yeshua's family's privacy.
But the story of young Yeshua at the Temple lets us understand that our Lord was an uncommon child of extraordinary intelligence and wisdom.

My message to the hypocrite evangelists

To whom it may concern.

I have a message for all the hypocrite evangelists who are spreading lies all over the internet, saying that the "Yeshua cult" is a "blasphemy". I will be your enemy, you will find me on your way. I will keep saying the truth. You are uneducated and ignorant people for stating that the name of Yeshua is nowhere to be found in your English Bibles and that only the name "Jesus" is real. You hypocrites, the English version of the Bibles you do possess have been translated from Hebrew and Aramaic into Greek...then translated again into Latin, then eventually maybe in English and you come with an arrogant spirit to mislead many souls! "Jesus" is a made-up name that did not exist before the 6th Century, nobody called Him "Jesus" in the 1st Century...and "Jesus" is the transliteration from the Greek "Iesous"...Yeshua was born and raised in Israel. Yeshua has been robbed His Name, His full identity as a child of the Hebrews and from that come a lot of biblical misinterpretations...moreover our Lord revealed me that Yeshua is His REAL Name (with the FULL MEANING of Salvation) and I will keep calling Him that even if the whole world does the contrary...in addition, you are using your hatred of the Truth to slate Jewish people. I will NEVER EVER be on your side, Satan is your master.
I really had to get that out of my chest. It is one thing to be ignorant, another to boast with arrogance when you are completely wrong and misleading to the masses.

Sincerely yours,

Isabelle Esling

Yeshua's rejection from the synagogue of Nazareth

The Gospels of Luke, Mark and Matthew report of Yeshua teaching at the synagogue of Nazareth.
This particular episode shows how the people who grew up with Yeshua became totally hostile to Him, to the point some of them wanted to kill Him (as stated in the Gospel of Luke).
Nothing hurts more than being rejected by our loved ones. When people who grew up with us don't believe in us, their mistrust has the effect of a sword piercing our hearts.

The Gospel of Luke gives us plenty more details compared with the two other synoptic Gospels.
Interestingly, before introducing the story of Yeshua at the synagogue of Nazareth, Luke states:

"And Yeshua returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee and a report about him went our through all the surrounding country. "(Luke 4:14)

This verse shows us that Yeshua was filled with the Spirit of Hashem, and thus, was doing many miracles around Him in the whole country of Israel. At this time, the rabbi of Nazareth was well known for His wonderful deeds.

Yeshua at the synagogue of Nazareth

So what happened exactly at the synagogue and how did people turn from friendly to hostile, to the point of wanting to kill their rabbi?

Yeshua is handed over the Book of the prophet Isaiah. He is reading the verses of Isaiah 61, verses 1 and 2:

"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me,
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim fredom for the captives,
and release from darkness the prisoners,
to proclaim a year of the Lord's favor."

Yeshua announces that He is fulfilling the prophecy of the Book of Isaiah.

People are impressed by His wisdom and His spiritual intelligence, but as always, when people know you too well, gossips and jealously are involved.

"Isnt this Yosef''s son?", people started to ask.

Yosef (Joseph), Yeshua's adoptive father, the carpenter, was a simple man. Because of Yosef's simplicity, they assumed that he couldn't have transmitted all this godly knowledge and wisdom to his son. One can imagine that gossips probably circulated about Miriam, Yeshua's mom being pregnant before her marriage with Yosef.
Yeshua probably suffered from being considered as an "illegitimate" son by many people from his village, and mean persons probably joked behind His back.

Four of His brothers are mentioned in Matthew 13: Yaakov (Jacob, sometimes translated by "James" in English versions, Yosef (Joseph), Shimon (Simon) and Yehuda (also known as Jude).
Yeshua's sisters names are not mentioned, though.

So, they knew all of His brothers and sisters and came to the conclusion that Yeshua couldn't be knowlegeable with such a familial environment.

They are caught into thoughts of jealousy, they are all fuming, already.

Then Yeshua points at their lack of faith mentioning the episodes of 1 Kings 5, where Namaan the Syrian gets healed from leprosy by being immersed into the Jordan river and the story of the widow of Sarepta in the second book of Kings.
There are two miraculous stories linked with the widow of Sarepta (Lebanon). The miracle of the oil that is enlightening the continuuous providing of the Eternal and the resurrection of her unique son by prophet Elijah.

Yeshua's statements are provoking for the people of Nazareth in their Israeli pride. Foreigners are being shown grace before nationals.
Their own wickedness is mirrored in Yeshua's words.

He is becoming the object of their hatred to the point they want to push Him from a hill.
Yet their plans of murder will fail miserably.

Yeshua walks through the crowd and goes His way.

Again we are learning an invaluable lesson. We will always be hated for telling the truth and showing things as they truly are. Yet a true follower of Yeshua cannot afford to compromise with lies.
